Nervosa came to On The Rocks in Helsinki to prove to us all that they are still a force to be reckoned with, even though the band is in yet another new iteration at the moment. With Prika on vocals, they sound as solid as ever, and killed it. Local heavy metal heroes Satan’s Fall were special guests and warmed us up nicely for the good old thrashing we were getting later.
We got to enjoy yet another show of Brymir and Kaunis Kuolematon a couple of Friday’s ago at Tampere’s YO-Talo. An event was organized by Nem Agency and Master Events.
The Texan old school death metal five-piece Frozen Soul returns with their second offering “Glacial Domination”, a punishing slab of heavy grooves, and stomping brutality. This is a great momentum for this band that has proved to be a top-tier talent in achieving great success in span of five years. Released via Century Media Records!

After last year’s cancellation, Nervosa came back to Finland on their small “Northern Tour” about a month ago, and set the house on fire with the help of local support Satan’s Fall at On The Rocks in Helsinki!

We’re amazed with the line-up that celebrates everything that is underground and extreme yet again, and that’s only a part of the reasons why you should still try to make it to the fest this weekend!
VoidCeremony’s sophomore ‘Threads of Unknowing’ delivers a visceral piece of technical death metal showcasing the unrivaled mastery and jazzy approach for which the band became known. Suffice to say that this is one of the best albums in death metal this year. Out via 20 Buck Spin.
