Crafting The Conspiracy – The Cosmic Key II

/ 0 Comments / By :

Crafting The Conspiracy is an American deathcore band formed in 2014. This is the third album they are releasing and the second part in their ‘Cosmic Key’ trilogy: ‘The Cosmic Key II.’

We blast off with ‘Prologue’, a short intro that is the start of a journey trough the land of melodic deathcore. ‘Autonomy Of Ascension’ goes further where ‘Prologue’ ended with furious blast beats and the hellish screams and grunts of Josh Miranda. His voice reminds me of Trevor Strnad from The Black Dahlia Murder. ‘Serenisis’ is faster and harder than the previous songs where I thought they couldn’t go any faster. Then we have ‘Equilibrium (Earthbound II).’ The first chapter of ‘Earthbound’ is on their EP from 2015 called ‘Human Error.’ Pure deathcore with a beautiful guest appearance from Christina Rotondo who you can find on youtube with various covers of Evanescence, Paramore, etc.

Then we get started with the trilogy of ‘Cosmic Key’ tracks. The first chapter is called ‘Aberration’, pure and furious deathcore. The second chapter ‘Polymerization’ gives us a more melodic touch in all this heaviness with some great riff work. And the third and last chapter ‘Dream Sequence’ starts off slow but then they unleash their demons and we can enjoy their deathcore for one last time. This is a pure melodic deathcore album, the deathcore fanatics like me will love this.
