Tips to do: Hellsinki Industrial Festival 2019

/ 0 Comments/ By :

The festival summer is over again and some people might feel a black hole that used to be filled up with good music, sun (or rain), beer and friends. Autumn is here and winter is approaching… so what now? We have a couple of tips for you to look into. Since we’re mostly active in Belgium and Finland at the moment, there might be more of a focus on events there but every single one deserves your attention for its uniqueness and greatness! Up next: Hellsinki Industrial Festival

What to expect

Last year we visited this fine event for the first time and we enormously enjoyed it. Expect a collection of the finest industrial, EBM and other darker electronic music acts, a great vibe and superb (neon colored) decorations. For our report of last year, go have a look here and for the pictures here.

Also this year they’ve collected an impressive list of artists and bands. On the Thursday they have a sort of pre-festival event at On The Rocks right at the Helsinki railway station with Die Kur, Suicidal Romance and Rabia Sorda to get you appropriately warmed up for the rest of the event.

On the first proper festival day you can catch Aesthetic Perfection, hard techno and metal blending DJ Zardonic, Centhron and Leaether Strip with added to that opening acts Eggvn and Sekret Teknik who will play in the downstairs bar on a smaller stage just before the bigger acts take over the stage in the upstairs main room of Nosturi.

On the second day there is Blutengel, Priest, local industrial metal heroes Fear Of Domination and Cygnosic. With again the day started in the downstairs bar with Old School Union and Miseria Ultima.

And every time the headlining act finishes up their set, a full-on cyber party will be unleashed led by some of Club Infektio’s resident DJ’s (with some special guests) to dance the night away for those who aren’t exhausted enough yet!
