Back in the day I used to listen to quite some symphonic and power metal like Blind Guardian and Rhapsody (of Fire) until I found the need for something harder and darker. But sometimes it’s just nice to revisit things from the past. So when one of the spin-off iterations of Rhapsody was coming to Finland with a relatively original line-up, I felt like I need to be there.

The show was solid as to be expected, with every single member showing off the masterful control they have of their instrument. And of course an ever impressive Fabio Lione on vocals. The played basically a retrospective of all the work that has been created under the names Rhapsody, Rhapsody of Fire and this more modern sounding version; Turilli / Lione Rhapsody. A nice little treat for the true fans…
