Belgian punk rockers Caught Up release new single ‘Daily Grind’
White Russian Records is proud to welcome Belgian punk rock outfit Caught Up to the family — a high-energy punkrock band delivering a fast, melodic, and aggressive sound just the way we like it and grew up on!
Formed in 2025 in the heart of Belgium, Caught Up ‘s members are no strangers to the scene, having earned their stripes in bands such as Funeral Dress, No Turning Back, Face The Fax, and Solenoid. The result is an enthusiastic and powerful punkrock band, drawing clear inspiration from genre staples like Good Riddance and Pennywise while carving out a voice of their own.
The band released their debut single, “Daily Grind,” offering a first taste of their upcoming EP, “The End Begins,” set for release on June 4. The Daily Grind single can be streamed everywhere via this link.
“Daily Grind” captures the frustration and disillusionment of modern life — a reflection on feeling trapped in routine, stuck in an endless cycle of work, obligation, and societal pressure. The track channels the sense of becoming disconnected from freedom and individuality, painting a bleak but relatable picture of everyday existence as a relentless, almost inescapable race. It’s punk rock at its most honest: urgent, confrontational, and deeply human.
The debut EP, The End Begins, out June 4th, features six original tracks and one bonus cover, recorded at Big Dog Recordings Studio. The release showcases the band’s signature blend of raw energy and thoughtful songwriting, tackling both personal and social themes with intensity and conviction.

The EP’s artwork (created by Michelle Sapion) further reinforces these themes. It visualizes the metaphor of the “rat race” in a stark and literal way: a character slowly transforming into a zombie, not through infection, but through the numbing repetition of daily life. Set against a collapsing world, the image reflects a growing sense of apathy — a society observing chaos from a distance, disconnected and desensitized. The inclusion of the Doomsday Clock serves as a stark reminder that time is running out, not just globally, but personally — urging the viewer to question whether they are truly living or merely going through the motions.
With their debut release, Caught Up delivers more than just fast, aggressive punk songs — they offer a sharp and timely commentary on the modern condition, wrapped in a sound that is both nostalgic and fiercely relevant.
