30 years of ‘River Runs Red’, the iconic album of Life Of Agony was brought with bravura and the same grinta as if it was yesterday. The rockers of Prong showed us also that they are alive and kicking, never giving up, and with the night opened by Tarah Who? the night VIERNULVIER in Ghent, Belgium was complete!
The supergroup The Winery Dogs came and conquered De Casino in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. Their bluesy oriented hard rock made your booty move, turning it into a very enjoyable evening with support from Morpheus.
Friday the thirteenth might not be the ideal time to go sailing the seven seas, but nevertheless we cried ahoy and steered our schooner towards the shores of Antwerp to meet up with Captain Ahab and their local mateys of Juneau at the Kavka Oudaan.
The celebration of the BlackJazz album by the Norwegians of SHINING at the Kafka in Antwerp was an intense orgasmic experience for your ears. Support came from local metal heroes Powerstroke.
On September 6, a scorching hot Indian summer’s day, The GRIMM Rider rode out once again and went back in time to the eighties. The 1880s, that is, for a sold out evening of bluegrass and country with the Tejon Street Corner Thieves and The Dead South at OLT in Antwerp.
This night was Iron Maiden night! After one of their greatest performances ever last year at Graspop Metal Meeting expectations were real high for the band’s return this year. But they left our reporter with somewhat of disappointed feeling after the show at Sportpaleis in Antwerp with support from The Raven Age.
The Offspring came to Forest National in Brussels and bombarded us with hit after hit for what was one of their best shows we’ve seen thus far. With support from punk rock bands Trash Boat and Four Year Strong, the night couldn’t have been better! Hosted by Live Nation Belgium.
At the beginning of March, Electric Callboy came back to Belgium to take over the Lotto Arena in Antwerp and do things bigger than even before! And they really set the place ablaze with the help of support acts Holding Absence and Future Palace! We can hardly wait to see what craziness they will bring us when they’re headlining Alcatraz in August!
Belgium’s most popular nu metal cover band Bizkit Park set the Wilde Westen venue in Kortrijk on fire, while newcomers Mantah got the crowd fired up straight from the very beginning!
This night was one big party! All the bands came to deliver their part of the party and the crowd was in for a good time too. If you missed this night, Alestorm, Gloryhammer and Wind Rose are coming to Alcatraz festival in Kortrijk this summer. Rumahoy sadly won’t be seen there.
