German progressive metal masters Obscura released a new video for ‘The Sun Eater’, out now with Nuclear Blast Records, just before they kicked off their tour in Asia!

“The New Flesh tour” struck down at De Vierde Zaal in Gent, and from the energetic start with Life Cycles, to the technical explosion of Revocation and the crushing intensity of Distant, to the controlled climax of Sylosis… Each band contributed in its own way to a memorable evening, hosted by Return Bookings and yours truly!

Omnium Gatherum

At the beginning of the month, Omnium Gatherum took over DVG Club Kortrijk in Belgium with a (hopefully) temporary new vocalist and support from Fallujah and In Mourning!

Sylosis is currently touring Europe with Revocation, Distant and Life Cycles on “The New Flesh tour”, building anticipation for their upcoming album of the same name! We caught their show at a packed Tavastia in Helsinki and saw it was good!

UK progressive death metal outfit Cryptic Shift are to unleash ‘Overspace & Supertime’ album in February with Metal Blade Records and shared the single ‘Hexagonal Eyes (Diverity Trepaphyphasyzm)’!

The last stop, and no holding back. Cradle of Filth closed their “Splintered in Winter Tour” in Antwerp, with a crushing set from special guests and death metal legends Suffocation and a striking Belgian debut by the Australian misfits of Mélancolia.

Sun Of The Suns released a video for ‘On The Last Day Of Earth’, the first single from their upcoming new album ‘Entanglement’, set for release in December by Scarlet Records!

Spanish extreme metal outfit Dire End shared their debut single ‘Burned To Death’, bringing technical death metal with speed and precision!

Melbourne based death metal brutes Vile Apparition return with the highly anticipated sophomore album ‘Malignity’. The quartet offers a classic aggressive delivery of Australia’s vile and monstrous death metal profanity. Out via Dark Descent Records and Me Saco Un Ojo Records since October 10th.

Milking the Goatmachine

The final day of Tolminator hit hard! From Milking the Goatmachine and Psycroptic to Hellripper, D.R.I., Oranssi Pazuzu and Ministry, the Tolminator Stage went out with a bang!
