The cold and wind did not stop Fort Wayne from showing up and showing out on a Wednesday evening for the “Through Shadows USA tour” with Born of Osiris and special guests The Browning, VCTMS, AXTY and Lost In Separation! Metal is alive and well, as this stacked metalcore lineup was an absolute barn burner! 

Kicking off the night was Lost in Separation, hailing from Dallas/Ft Worth, Texas. They started off with a lot of energy, which set the tone for the rest of the evening. 

Next in the lineup was AXTY! This 3 piece metalcore band was formed in Brazil. I especially liked the vocalist’s growls.

VCTMS was on deck next and they were fantastic! I have been wanting to catch them for a bit! Their drummer is really entertaining to watch. Overall, they are a high octane metalcore band.

The Browning, electronicore outfit from Kansas City, Missouri. The unique blend of genres is fun. You get the screams and growls in addition to being able to dance. They did a cover of “Blue”(Da Ba Dee)” which was very rad. 

Born of Osiris, progressive metalcore band from Illinois, took the stage last. They are veterans in the scene of metalcore, having been around since 2003. With their hard hitting vocals and heavy guitar riffs, they brought the energy to the stage! They showed their appreciation to their fans multiple times throughout their set, which was cool to see. They played an 18 song set list, including hits such as ‘In Desolation’, ‘Through Shadows’, ‘Bow Down’, ‘Divergency’, ‘Abstract Art’ and ‘Machine’.

This entire tour package was a blast from start to finish! I highly recommend you catch a show in your area!!
