W.A.S.P. delivered one of their most electrifying performancesI’ve experienced of them to date at Kulttuuritalo in Helsinki, marking the 40th anniversary of their self-titled debut with the ALBUM ONE ALIVE world tour. The band treated fans to a full performance of the iconic debut album, played in chronological order and in its entirety, before launching into a set of fan favorites spanning their four-decade career.
The evening reached an emotional peak when frontman Blackie Lawless paused to honor his late friend, Ace Frehley, who had recently passed away. His heartfelt tribute set a poignant tone before the band closed the night with their classic anthem, ‘Blind in Texas’.
