Soen released the title track of upcoming album 'Memorial' • GRIMM Gent

The Swedish prog rockers of Soen treats their fans with the title track of the upcoming album ‘Memorial’, released with a music video. It’s the second single from the band’s sixth full-length album, set to be released on September 1st via Silver Lining Music.

The lyrics reminiscent of the spiritual destructive power of wars and the power games of state leaders are surrounded by a composition filled with heavy riffs and massive melodies.

“The lyrics of the song talk about post-traumatic stress disorder, and the effects that war has on people like you and me. People are sent to kill and die, and they are also the ones who have to pay the price for it for the rest of their lives,” says singer Joel Ekelöf.

Soen has been steadily building their career upwards and forwards, not making any compromises in its music and do not take the easy road. The upcoming album has been carefully crafted and resulted in the band’s most mature album to date.
