A couple of friends of the site are bringing something quite new to Finland with Ankea Festival, to take place next summer in Tampere, giving a space for music that isn’t as much represented at festivals overall with a focus on alternative rock and progressive metal! The outdoor stage on the 2nd day of Steelfest XII was the place for explosive and often high velocity performances by Kroda, Infernal War, Ved Buens Ende, Délétère, and Corpsessed!
The second day of Steelfest XI delivered another serving of proper dark underground and extreme metal on the indoors stage with performances from Horna with vocalist Corvus, Misþyrming, Krzysztof Drabikowski’s БАТЮШКА, Strid, and Inferno!
The first day of Steelfest XII also brought a series of explosive and high energy performances to the outdoor stage with Unleashed, Aeternus, Hellbutcher, Craft, and Deathchain!
