Atena releases new song ‘Full Force to the Heart’ ahead of two international tours

Metalcore

The Norwegian metalcore band ATENA is back with new music and exciting news for their fans! On August 23rd, the band will release their long-awaited new song, “Full Force to the Heart”, and prepare for two extensive international tours this fall.

After the success of their latest album “Subway Anthem”, ATENA felt it was time for a musical renewal. They wanted to explore new territories within rhythms and breakdowns. The result? The powerful single “Full Force to the Heart”, which gives an exciting preview of the band’s future sound.

“After completing our last album ‘Subway Anthem’, we felt we were done with that sound and wanted to try something new,” says the band. “We’ve had a lot of fun finding new approaches and writing styles.”

With this song, ATENA takes their unique metalcore expression to new heights. Fans can expect an energetic, powerful, and innovative experience, showcasing the band’s ability to continually renew and experiment.

On September 12, 2024, ATENA embarks on a tour alongside renowned bands One Morning Left, Cabal, and Aviana. This tour, called the “Nordic Invasion Tour”, will take them through 9 dates in Scandinavia and promises to be an unforgettable experience for all metalcore fans. Right after this tour ends, ATENA will continue on a new European tour with Dead Like Juliet and Awake the Dreamer.

With five albums to their name, ATENA has established itself as a leading force in Norwegian metalcore. Their unique combination of heavy guitars, electronic elements, and urban references has earned them a solid fanbase and international recognition. ATENA draws deep inspiration from classic metalcore and hip-hop, and their love for heavy riffs shines through in their music, which often explores the darker sides of life.
