P.O.D. pay tribute to The Beatles with their new video ‘Don’t Let Me Down’

P.O.D. has released the official video for ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ — a cover of The Beatles‘ classic. The release coincides with a special date: on December 5, 2025, it was exactly 60 years since The Beatles gave their last live performances in their hometown of Liverpool.

On December 5, 1965, The Beatles took the stage of the Liverpool Empire Theatre twice, for what would be their very last shows in the city. The performances were part of their 1965 UK tour, which ended a week later. By sharing their video on the same day, P.O.D. paid tribute to the lasting legacy of The Beatles — a celebration of the music, the milestones and the timeless influence that the Liverpool legends still have on generations of musicians and fans.

The video for ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ showcases the signature energy of these Southtown icons, while at the same time giving a respectful nod to one of the Fab Four’s most beloved songs.  You can watch the video HERE.

“It may sound cliché, but we’ve always admired The Beatles,” says Curiel. “Their melodies, their hooks, their guts to experiment – that’s what inspired us. Our take on ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ is a tribute, with nothing but respect. Without them, rock ‘n roll, pop and metal simply wouldn’t have looked the same.”

In true road-warrior style, the band has barely breathed; they had just come off a big U.S. Fall tour with Daughtry and Seether. And the momentum is far from over. The band has confirmed that they will be hitting the European festival grounds in the summer of 2026 — The United Kingdom (Download), Austria (Nova Rock), Belgium (Graspop), Portugal (Rock N Rio), Switzerland (Summerside), Denmark (Copenhell), Finland (Tuska), Germany (Rockharz, Wacken Open Air) and Spain (Resurrection). Tickets are available HERE .

Last year, P.O.D. released their eleventh album VERITAS through Mascot Records. The album immediately ended up in the Top 10 of several Billboard rock charts in the US and now has more than 65 million streams. Singles like DROP“, AFRAID TO DIE,I GOT THATand I WON’T BOW DOWNshow the versatility of the band. In doing so, they worked with greats such as Randy Blythe (Lamb of God) and Tatiana Shmayluk (Jinjer). The album received widespread support from Spotify, Apple, Amazon Music, BBC Radio, Kerrang!, Metal Hammer and many more.

The platinum-selling rock stars — Sonny Sandoval (vocals), Marcos Curiel (guitar) and Traa Daniels (bass) — keep moving and never settle for repeating old successes. Instead, they continue to evolve, while staying true to what P.O.D. has always defined: authenticity.

And as soon as you stand in the audience and see them on stage at full speed, that message is unmissable.
