Perpetual Warfare return with new song and video ‘N.N. (6402)’

Thrash Metal

Forged in the underground of Bogotá, Colombia PERPETUAL WARFARE delivers a neck-breaking assault of ferocious riffs, blistering speed, and uncompromising aggression. M-Theory Audio announced the signing 6 weeks ago impressed by the unrelenting savagery and overall progression and maturity from earlier material.

Now comes second single “N.N. (6402)” available on all digital platforms or watch the new music video HERE: www.youtube.com/watch?v=RA-UVf29kvw

“’N.N. (6402)’ tells a story that Colombia’s power elites have tried to hide. We are bringing it to light — no censorship, no curtains, just the reality that many Colombians lived through. No one can erase history,” states Camilo Muñoz. “This song is a tribute to all the victims of what we consider a state policy of genocide, people like you and me killed by the power of state.”

Heady topics for sure but PERPETUAL WARFARE have never shied away from serious themes, and this one is in their native Spanish. “N.N. (6402)” follows up the group’s first single “Nihil Sumus”: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDEWnqZQN5g

Combined the two songs make for a collectible double A-side 7” vinyl, limited to 300 on bone-colored, and only available via mail-order or at the group’s upcoming shows. Order now https://m-theoryaudio.com/product/1369308-perpetual-warfare-nihil-sumus-7-single-ltd-to-300-copies-bone-colored-vinyl or Bandcamp https://perpetualwarfare.bandcamp.com/album/nihil-sumus-single (Copies will be mailed from the US or Colombia based upon your location).

PERPETUAL WARFARE is primed for their appearance at Colombia’s largest festival, amongst an assortment of other great shows –

10/10-12 – Rock Al Parque – Parque Simon Bolivar – Bogota, Colombia

10/24 – United For Thrash Fest – Lourdes Music Hall – Bogota, Colombia w/ Violator, Fueled By Fire

10/25: Festival SuaRock, Parque Principal de Soacha, Colombia, co-headlining with Spanish band Obus.

11/7: Festival Salinas Rock – Catedral de Sal de Zipaquira, Colombia (headliners)

11/12-13: Festival Galeras Rock – Plaza de Bolivar, Pasto, Colombia

Explosive, lethal, and relentlessly intense, PERPETUAL WARFARE stand as a definitive statement of pure, unfiltered extreme metal with the band unyielding showcasing an assault that sets the stage for their upcoming full-length, due next spring under the M-Theory Audio banner. An absolute masterclass in unforgiving speed and sonic warfare that will cement their reputation as one of the hardest-hitting forces in modern extreme metal, blending razor-sharp riffage with ferocious vocal aggression.

Hailing from Bogotá, Colombia, the quartet have carved a path of sonic devastation through relentless touring and explosive releases. Drawing inspiration from classic thrash pioneers while injecting modern extremity, the quartet stands as the dominant emerging force in South American metal. Formed in 2006 by brothers Camilo Muñoz (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and Wilson Muñoz (bass), the band blends 1980s Bay Area and Teutonic thrash metal influences with aggressive modern Latino execution. Following their inception, the group quickly built a local following before delivering their full-length debut, ‘Justicia, Libertad y Decadencia,’ in 2010. Over the following decade, the group released two more albums, ‘The Age of War’ in 2013 and ‘Earthliens’ in 2018, alongside numerous EPs, singles and splits solidifying their lineup with drummer Esteban Díaz (who joined in 2014) and lead guitarist Camilo Solórzano (who joined in 2022). Through relentless DIY efforts and the establishment of their own entity, Wild Noise Productions, PERPETUAL WARFARE grew from underground local heroes to standard-bearers for South American metal. Lyrically, their music explores anti-war topics, corruption, socio-political collapse, and existential struggles. Widely recognized for their active touring, PERPETUAL WARFARE have played across 20+ countries including headlining tours across S. America, 35 shows in the US and almost a month of European dates alongside Japanese cult band Abigail. Additionally, the band have performed on 70,000 Tons of Metal, Knotfest (Mexico and Colombia), Rock al Parque (Colombia) and Winter Rising Fest (France) sharing stages with international metal mainstays including Slayer, Sepultura, Accept, Coroner, Suicidal Tendencies, Testament, and Cannibal Corpse, in addition to two sold-out nights opening for Megadeth at Bogotá’s Movistar Arena to nearly 30,000 attendees. Today, the band was also confirmed to present their special XX Year Show for the 30th Edition of the biggest open-air festival in Latin America – Festival Rock al Parque, as a long-experienced national special guest. This event will take place on Oct 10, 11 and 12th at Simon Bolivar Park in the capital city of Colombia, alongside acts like Ministry, Tryptikon, Stratovarius, Apocalyptica, Grave, Hellbutcher, among others.
