'Ho Ho Ho.... Xmas comes early this year for thrash-metal fans!' says Santa in November 2022. On November 11th, 2022 the fifth studio longplayer album 'Emperor Of The Weak' by Fateful Finality will be released. The southern Germany based 4-head combo is keeping it's tradition to serve you the finest skull splitting thrash metal. After teasing the appetite with their 'Finish 'Em' EP which was released on vinyl only in 2021 now it's time for their next masterpiece.

The band was founded in 2007 and was able to gain bigger public reputation by representing Germany at the Wacken Metal Battle 2012. Skull splitting thrash metal was ever since their motto and this what they have been pressing on their previous records as well as bringing it live to stages all over Europe. In 2022 they opened up for the Bay-area legends Death Angel as well as wrecking the stage at Wacken Open Air 2022 (and not for the first time).

Now a new masterpiece is coming out. 11 tracks coming your way – turn it on, crank up the volume to max and be ready to bang your head into concussion protocol. The title track ‘Emperor Of The Weak’ will blast through your ear tunnels like a 40 ton truck at 150mp/h. Massive double guitars, fat bass and precise high-speed drums. The vocals by Simon (Schwarzer), who takes over the more kind of growling parts, and Paddy (Prochiner), who does the shout/barking out parts that will often remind you of Slayer’s Tom Araya, are harmonizing just perfect – thanks to Chris Schäfer, who was responsible for the album mastering.

There is no rest for your neck when listening to the all the other highlights of the album – just to name the ultra-fast ‘Hate Kill And Death’ or ‘From Creator to victim’.  Both tracks are just fast, precise and simply vicious. ‘When Peace Is The Demand’ is opened up with a classic Metallica-like intro, starting slow and then switching the button to full force. Whereas ‘The Man He Was’ has a balladesque opening and is the only slower tempo song on the record, when you want to call it “slow” at all. The album convinces in all eleven songs with tight and fast guitar shredding, speed, pacing and time-changes . On top Fateful Finality have taken another big step forward in song writing even compared to the predecessor album ‘Executor’. This all you can want from a killer thrash album. Remarkable is as well the detailed graphics of the album cover – designed by Toha Mashudi, an artist from Indonesia.

Fateful Finality are:

Simon Schwarzer (Vocals,  Guitar)
Patrick ‘Paddy’ Prochiner (Vocals, Guitar)
Philipp ‘Phil’ Mürder (Bass)
Mischa Wittek (Drums)

A perfect and fast thrash-metal album. It is for sure a top notch candidate for the title ‘Thrash-Metal Album Of The Year’ in 2022. Santa says that too – a MUST HAVE under the Xmas tree.
