The four of us got together at the beginning of 2023 and wrote the song ‘Second Left To Breathe’,” shares producer / drummer Frank Zummo. “That session was beyond inspiring that we started creating more music quickly! We decided this should be a band and do something unique for the thriving electronic scene.”

He continues:

‘Erase Me’ is truly a beautiful piece of art and we felt Monstercat was the only home to share this vision with the world. We thank you for listening and joining us on this ride!

The foundation for Gravas stretches back over a decade to when Demitri Medina and Fransis Derelle were coming up in the Salt Lake City music scene. The two bonded over shared musical interested and stayed in touch over the years. They eventually began working together, with Derelle enlisting Medina to add metal/rock elements to his music.

Frank Zummo and CRaymak were added into the mix at the end of 2022. The resulting “Second Left To Breathe” and overall synergy within the group made it clear that this was just the beginning. The four immediately started writing more music, honing in on their sound and laying the groundwork for this exciting new project.

Gravas will be making their live debut on October 28th at Get Freaky in Salt Lake City. Fans can expect more music and shows soon – stay tuned at www.instagram.com/wearegravas.
