Mandy Manala unveil new single and video ‘Shoebox’

Heavy Rock

Finnish dark heavy rock band Mandy Manala unveil their new single and official video “Shoebox”, now available online, offering a deeply emotional and cinematic glimpse into their evolving sound.

“Shoebox” stands as one of the most intimate and haunting moments of the upcoming album cycle, unfolding as a dark ballad where an innocent game leads to a life that would never be the same again. Built on atmosphere, restraint and emotional tension, the track reveals a more fragile and narrative-driven side of the band, while still retaining their signature dark heavy rock identity.

The single is taken from the forthcoming sophomore album “Something Wicked”, set for release on May 29, 2026 via Argonauta Records. The album will be available on CD, deluxe colored vinyl and digital formats.

Following the strong response to their debut, Mandy Manala continue to refine and expand their sonic universe, pushing further into darker, heavier and more atmospheric territories. Blending dark heavy rock, stoner and occult influences, Something Wicked balances crushing riffs and hypnotic grooves with cinematic songwriting and strong melodic hooks, resulting in a record that feels both heavier and more emotionally immersive than its predecessor.

“Shoebox” also offers a key emotional entry point into the world of Something Wicked, setting the tone for an album that explores darkness, desire and mysticism through a more introspective and storytelling-focused lens.

“Something Wicked” tracklist:
01. Bloodred Chapel of Sin
02. Nocturnal Bites
03. Bridges
04. Shoebox
05. Psalm 77:7
06. Underneath The Sea
07. Beneath A Steel Sky
08. The Dark Passenger Pt.2
09. Something Wicked

Something Wicked will be released worldwide on May 29, 2026 via Argonauta Records.
