Nova Twins share anthemic new single ‘N.O.V.A’

Alternative Rock, Hard Rock, Heavy Rock

The revolution continues! Nova Twins – your favourite genre-defying, boundary-breaking, alt-rock force – are back with their blistering new single “N.O.V.A”. The track is the latest taste of the duo’s third studio album, “Parasites & Butterflies”, landing August 29, 2025, via Marshall Records.

Hot off the heels of ferocious singles “Monsters”, “Soprano”, and “Piranha”, “N.O.V.A” sees Amy Love and Georgia South standing taller than ever— -unapologetically loud, undeniably proud.

Speaking on the track, Amy and Georgia said:

“This is a celebration of identity, a tribute to the women in our family, and a refusal to apologise for who we are. As two Black women in rock music, we initially felt we had to prove ourselves, due to a lack of representation. Sticking to our guns and overcoming self-doubt has brought us pride. This song honours the peers who paved the way and the progress we’ve made”.

Watch the chaotic video directed by the incredible Charlie Rees HERE. The chaotic video sees Amy and Georgia commanding a packed, all-femme moshpit with raw, unapologetic power. Embracing both their femininity and alt-rock roots, Nova Twins tear through the track with an in-your-face performance that’s fierce and cathartic. Prepare to feel the heat!

Nova Twins continue to carve their own path, unafraid to challenge, question, and provoke. The track offers a powerful glimpse of what’s to come on Parasites & Butterflies, an album that promises to bridge chaos and beauty, strength and vulnerability.

The album was recorded in Vermont, USA with legendary producer Rich Costey (Foo Fighters, Muse, Deftones, Sam Fender). From front to back, it’s a genre-shattering statement of intent, balancing dancefloor detonators with moments of raw introspection. Full of contrast and scale, it reveals Nova Twins at their most expansive.

After tearing through 19 festivals this summer—including Glastonbury and shows with Biffy Clyro at the Eden Project—the duo now prepare to level up. Their biggest headline tour yet storms through Europe and the UK this autumn, culminating in a massive homecoming at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on October 18.

In recent months, Nova Twins have delivered a standout TV performance at the 2025 MOBO Awards,  ignited chaos at a sold-out OMEARA in London (raising over £32K for WARCHILD in the process), and brought their explosive single “Monsters” to The Jonathan Ross Show on ITV1.

Since bursting out of the independent UK scene, the Mercury Music Prize and two-time BRIT Award nominees have redefined the rulebook of what a modern rock band can achieve. They’ve stormed festival stages from Glastonbury to Summer Sonic, headlined sold-out venues across the globe, toured with the likes of Foo Fighters, Muse, and Bring Me The Horizon, and earned praise from icons like Tom Morello (“an incredible band”) and Elton John (“phenomenal”).

Their impact reaches beyond music. They’ve graced the covers of magazines including Kerrang!, NME, UPSET, DIY, NOTION, Alternative Press, and Rock Sound, and received accolades from the Music Week Women in Music Awards, AIM Awards, Kerrang! Awards, and the Nordoff & Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards. In 2022, they made history as the first Black rock band nominated for the Mercury Prize.

Beyond music, Nova Twins’ Voices For The Unheard initiative amplifies underrepresented artists in the alternative sphere while supporting vital causes like The Black Curriculum. They also spearheaded the introduction of the Alternative category at the MOBO Awards in 2022 and established a Creative Musicianship Scholarship at ICMP to champion future generations of diverse talent.

With “Parasites & Butterflies”, Nova Twins continue to break boundaries and invite fans into their boldest era yet.
