DISTURBED is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their album ‘The Sickness’ with an extensive tour. MEGADETH is a part of the package and promises a portion of great and virtuous thrash metal.

After announcing that MEGADETH will release their last, self-titled album in January 2026, this was a great opportunity to see them perform live. And they delivered an inspiring performance that was only a first taste of a hopefully upcoming farewell tour.

DISTURBED had set up a bombastic stage with a large pyramid built from metal grid cubes. Within these cubes the stage lights, LED screens and a lot of pyro-effects and fire had been installed. Master of the show was clearly vocalist David Draiman. The whole band was bursting with joy and the spark immediately jumped over to the audience. It was a worthy anniversary celebration that covered not only tracks from ‘The Sickness’ but a large variety of the DISTURBED repertoire and including ‘Shout’ (originally by TEARS FOR FEARS) and of course their viral hit ‘Sounds Of Silence’ (originally by Simon & Garfunkel).
