Stinky release ‘Alignment’ single/music video

Hardcore

STINKY return with another taste of their forthcoming album release with next single “Alignment” on all digital platforms, as well as a music video filled with performance festival footage filmed at Sylak and Hellfest 2024. Watch the “Alignment” video here:

“There is no question of abandoning efficiency and energy! The group delivers a committed track that addresses the deliverance that a gender transition can represent and makes this track a true hymn to self-acceptance,” states drummer Paul Saltet.

“Alignment” is a track with punk/hardcore melodic sounds combining pop/punk parts and formidable breakdowns, and follows the previous singles – the darker and more metal “Down in the Dumps” with its heavy rhythms and the catchy, pop-punk tinged “Moonbow“.

“STINKY demonstrate their desire to explore new horizons, and promise a varied and ever more melodic album,” explains Paul.

The quintet’s fourth album, ‘Solace’ will be released Feb. 21 and pre-orders begin today with options including CD, limited green& white marble colored vinyl and digital. Pre-Order now at https://lnk.to/stinky

‘Solace’ comes 5 years since the band’s previous full-length, ‘Of Lost Things’ was released and while the group’s sound is intact several new members have joined the band leaving just the core of drummer Paul and vocalist Clair. The 3 new members — Max on bass and Enzo and Clément on guitars – remain true to the group’s original mission and sound while expanding the palette created. The group has been active playing shows all over France, including key festivals like Hellfest, Omega Sound Fest, Brut’fier, SidFest, WeMetal Fest, and Nantes Metal Fest, as well as getting over to the UK for Manchester Punk Festival, alongside Hot Water Music, A Wilhelm Scream and Tsunami Bomb.

Since their formation a decade ago, STINKY has played more than 350 concerts across 15 different countries in support of their first three albums, 2015’s ‘Against Wind and Tide,’ 2017’s ‘From Dead-End Street,’ and 2020’s ‘Of Lost Things.’ While the band’s name might seem curious to some, their music is a combustible mix of energy and aggression with enough melody to keep it catchy and infectious.

More new music and information from ‘Solace’ will be released in the months leading up to its release.

STINKY live:
10/18 – Seisach’ Metal Night – Sauveterre-de-Guyenne, France
10/19 – Rock Your Brain Fest – Sélestat, France
11/02 – La Bellevilloise – Paris, France
11/09 – Arthémuse – Briec, France
11/30 – Rennes, France
12/20 – La Luciole – Alençon, France
