Kalandra re-sign to By Norse Music

The label is glad to announce the re-signing of Kalandra as part of the By Norse Music Family. After the release of the band’s full-lengths The Line and A Frame Of Mind, they are looking forward to collaborate together on their upcoming releases. 

Ivar Bjørnson, co-owner of By Norse states:

Jogeir Daae Mæland adds on behalf of Kalandra:

“About five years ago, we were putting the final touches on The Line — our debut album released through ByNorse.

At that point, we had been a band for a decade. We spent the early years trying to be discovered, and the later ones trying to discover something deeper within ourselves. That journey reached a pivotal moment with the release of that first album.

When it came time to sign a label deal, we had several offers on the table. But ByNorse stood out. They believed in our music, saw its potential, and — crucially — never tried to control it. Their approach was rooted in fairness and mutual respect: a deal made by artists, for artists. They listened to our questions, welcomed our hesitations, and met us with honesty and openness — qualities that are, sadly, rare in this industry.
