DIRKSCHNEIDER AND THE OLD GANG release title track of upcoming album ‘BABYLON’

,

DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG (DATOG) have unleashed ‘Babylon,’ the monumental title track from their upcoming album, set for release on October 3, 2025 via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM).

DATOG’s ‘Babylon’ pulls you in with eastern-tinged melodies and takes you on a magic carpet ride through lands of myth and mystery.

The band describes the song so:

“‘Babylon’ is an absolutely worthy title track. Featuring a pounding, ultra-hard riff, plus the vocal melodies of Udo, Peter and Manuela that transport you straight into a fairy tale from “One Thousand and One Nights.” The guitar arrangements and especially Mathias’ solo guitar work support the imaginative atmosphere and drive the song to its absolute climax.”

Lyrically, ‘Babylon’ invites listeners to walk the world of wonders where every tale is true – through mystic havens, desert nights, and golden treasures shining bright for the Holy Queen of Babylon. It’s a song that dares to cross the line between fantasy and heavy metal firepower, guiding fans into a place “where the holy gate’s gonna be your fate.”

DATOG is Udo Dirkschneider (Main Vocals), Peter Baltes (Bass, Main Vocals, Backing Vocals), Manuela “Ella” Bibert (Main Vocals, Backing Vocals, Key Instruments), Stefan Kaufmann (Guitars, Backing Vocals), Mathias “Don” Dieth (Guitars, Backing Vocals) and Sven Dirkschneider (Drums, Backing Vocals)
