Riverflame share new track ‘Where Dragons Once Ruled’

Black Metal

Medieval black metallers Riverflame shared the new track “Where Dragons Once Ruled’. The track is the second to be revealed from the band’s highly anticipated debut album, Lunar Crusades, set for international release on April 24th via code666. Hear Riverflame‘s “Where Dragons Once Ruled’ in its entirety exclusively HERE.

Riverflame were created in 2024 by members of Hail Spirit Noir, Ponte Del Diavolo, and OWLS. After two years of intensive writing and recordings, they now present their debut album, Lunar Crusades— a journey of epic medieval black metal atmospheres and neoclassical arrangements. Channeling the spirit of Stormkeep, Summoning, and Dissection, the band create a sound both nostalgic and visionary. The result is a sweeping, cinematic experience steeped in grandeur, darkness, and heroism.Τhe album was mixed and mastered by Dimitris Douvras (Rotting Christ, Hail Spirit Noir) whereas the cover artwork is a painting by Mars Triumph (Manowar, Triumpher).

On signing with code666, Riverflame state, “Lunar Crusades is scheduled for release via code666, a trustworthy label that most of the members of the band have worked with in the past. The band is very happy for the signing and believes the new album marks another solid addition to the label’s high-quality catalog.”

In the meantime, hear the brand-new track “Where Dragons Once Ruled’ exclusively HERE, courtesy of NoCleanSinging.com.
