The Nocturnal Affair share epic new single ‘Oxygen’

Alternative Rock, Dark Metal, Hard Rock

Las Vegas Dark Rockers The Nocturnal Affair present alongside Metal Injection “Oxygen” their most powerful new song and  music video yet! Already being played on some radio airwaves, fans old and new have been requesting it on replay!

Oxygen has already started hitting the celestial airwaves early April at over a dozen stations as The Nocturnal Affair went on a radio tour to perform a few singles including “Oxygen.” Famed station WJJO  dubbed the new hit as “Awesome!”

Singer, Brendan Shane comments,

“ Oxygen is a side of love that seems inviting and flattering at first but inevitably becomes more and more toxic. Everyone wants their happily ever after, unfortunately some people obsess a little too much.”

The Nocturnal Affair return to Europe this early fall joining the legendary Los Angeles based Fear Factory. Also supporting will be Japan’s Crystal Lake and Poland’s Hate.

Singer Brendan Shane comments,

“The Nocturnal Affair are honored that Fear Factory have given us this opportunity to share the stage with them. Returning to Europe with so many heavy hitters like Fear Factory, Crystal Lake and Hate is a musician’s dream. (Plus, Dino and I share the same birthday and it’s happening during this tour!!) We’ve met so many fans over the past few tours there, I am so excited to see all of you again! Come early, stay late!”

The 32 European cities tour kicks off in Poland on August 29th, making stops all over Eastern, Western and Northern Europe and concludes in the U.K. at the O2 Forum in London.  The band’s growing list of stage-mates is testament to the versatility and determination of frontman and writer Brendan Shane, the creative force behind The Nocturnal Affair. And now, they will be joining the legendary Fear Factory opening the big stage all over Europe, so make sure to come early!

Discovered by Grammy nominated Disturbed bassist John Moyer, Las Vegas dark rockers The Nocturnal Affair are an alternative/dark rock project headed by singer/songwriter Brendan Shane.   The band’s crushing and melancholic musical style is an ode to darker alternative music torchbearers like Type O Negative, HIM, David Bowie, Gary Numan, and Nine Inch Nails. The Nocturnal Affair has toured extensively throughout the US, UK, and Europe, getting in their 10,000 hours performing alongside a wide array of artists including Fozzy, Wednesday 13, Max Cavalera’s NAILBOMB, Drowning Pool, HELLYEAH, Asking Alexandria, and Pop Evil.  While also being accessible enough to share the stage with notable mainstream acts like 3 Doors Down, Black Stone Cherry and Alien Ant Farm.

In the Fall of 2024, the band released their single “Cross Me Out”, co-written by active-rock songwriting heavyweight Johnny Andrews (Ice Nine Kills, Starset, The Funeral Portrait, Motionless In White).  The single reached Top 30 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Radio chart, #3 on the SMR Radio Rock chart and racked up 3 MIL views to date on YouTube.  Their follow up singles ‘Benefit of Doubt’ and a heavy rock take on Haddaway’s 1993 pop guilty pleasure ‘What Is Love”, have clocked another combined 7 million views on Youtube and counting.  These head-turning numbers and high show energy has many plaudits claiming ‘they don’t make ‘em like that anymore…until now!’
