Finnish industrial metal outfit King Satan release new single ‘Light of Darkness’

Industrial Metal

The Finnish industrial metal heretics of King Satan are proud to announce their brand new album Black Magick Abraxas, which will be released on 6th November via Blood Blast Distribution. To celebrate, King Satan are now releasing a new single and video for ‘Light of Darkness’, which is streaming via the band’s YouTube channel.

Frontman King Aleister Satan comments on the track:

“‘Light of Darkness’ is industrial metal to the people who don’t like industrial metal. This song is probably not even industrial metal at all, like half of our songs are not. But that’s not important. What is important is that it has blast beats and disco beats mixed together. We are a nightmare for anyone trying to categorize our music. Alas, we make music to be listened to, not categorized. Here you hear influences from symphonic metal, classical music, and religious hymns, tied together with rocking industrial metal (which is not even industrial metal) that you can mosh and/or dance to.

“Makes no sense? Neither does the music video I directed for the song, or the bathing suit on Donald Duck. But we can understand both on some deeper level, forgotten by modern society and/or decency, if we just give ourselves permission. Viva Lucifer!”

King Satan recently releaced their first special new single ‘Black Magick Rock ‘N’ Roll‘ featuring Erja Lyytinen, one of the most esteemed rock guitarists in Finland, making the worlds of industrial metal and rock music merge together in high octane crossover suitable for dance floors, moshpits and 2 a.m. kitchen discos.

Track-list:
1. Black Magick Rock ‘N ‘ Roll (feat. Erja Lyytinen)
2. Light of Darkness
3. Fire in the Hole
4. Hate Me Baby
5. Abraxas Rising
6. Far Beyond Good and Evil
7. The Devil Made Me Do It
8. Down by the Sins
9. Ride the Lion (CD/LP Bonus)

King Satan are a genre-bending industrial metal band from Finland, created by enigmatic artist, multi-instrumentalist and producer King Aleister Satan. A spawn of sleazy riffs, seductive groove ’n’ roll, mesmerizing melodies, and provocative yet philosophical themes, the band’s music offers a carnivalesque blend of extreme metal crossover. A unique fusion of electronic party music and the occult side of heavy metal, served with the raw energy of rock’n’roll, the group themselves dubs as ’death metal disco’

Founded in 2015 in the city of Tampere (FI), King Satan have steadily carved out a distinct identity within the alternative, industrial and extreme metal scenes, gaining loyal following through relentless touring, provocative theatrics and a mercurial sound resonating somewhere between avantgarde and shock rock. Originally a solo studio project, the act crew into a full line-up band known for their energetic live shows, trickster-like narrative and infectious charisma.

The band’s unapologetic approach, not shy of controversy, combines dark humor, absurdism and social provocation together with esoteric and philosophical themes inspired by the dark side of the human psychology and the world’s mythologies. Renowned for their explosive stage presence, crowned by the dynamic vocal interplay between the band’s mastermind King Aleister Satan and keyboardist-vocalist Hekate ”Kate” Boss, creating a ’Beauty and the Beast’ style of a dialogue between raw darkness and eloquent power.

King Satan have toured extensively across their native Finland and Europe with own their headliner shows and also supporting such prominent names like Deathstars, Turmion Kätilöt and Gothminister. Touring has taken the band to perform to prestigious metal festivals as well like Tuska Festival and Masters Of Rock but also to acclaimed industrial-alternative festivals like Dark Malta and Hellsinki Industrial Festival – demonstrating the band’s versatile genre-defying expression.

With multiple (charting) full-length albums and award-winning music videos, the band continues to expand their unholy metal carnival beyond the boundaries of kitsch entertainment and mystic arts in the name of the wicked one!
