Lambrini Girls announce new album and share single ‘Bang Bang Bang’

Punk, Punk Rock

Punk duo Lambrini Girls announce their second album, ‘No Refunds’, set for release on the 15th of January via City Slang, alongside brand new single “Bang Bang Bang” and its accompanying music video.

The follow-up to their acclaimed 2025 debut ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’, ‘No Refunds’ sees Phoebe Lunny (vocals/guitar) and Selin Macieira-Boşgelmez (bass) return with a darker and increasingly more urgent record for a world that, in their own words, “got even worse”. The band are keeping up an undeniable momentum with their potent strain of scathing social commentary and barbed humour.

The first entry point into ‘No Refunds’ arrived earlier this year with “Cult of Celebrity”, which purposely juxtaposed its seething takedown of celebrity culture with perhaps their most commercial, pop-minded track yet. Now, “Bang Bang Bang” arrives, offering another glimpse of a record that pushes their trademark ferocity into new and unexpected territory. The latest single throws gasoline onto the fire and offers a further glimpse into a record that finds Lambrini Girls sharpening their attack without losing any of their instinctive, vital energy. “‘Bang Bang Bang’ tells a smart (and possibly familiar) story of, in Phoebe’s own words, “a man who has been revered as a Christ-like figure but also as the devil.”

The music video, shot by Harv Frost captures Lambrini Girls at their most visceral. Slivers of light cut through the darkened room. As the track builds, so does the chaos, the room reaching boiling point in a barrage of smashed pint glasses and feverish movement, essentially distilling the band’s raw, confrontational energy into a claustrophobic rush.

‘No Refunds’ confronts a litany of modern horrors, from genocide and fascism to the rise of AI, reproductive rights,  and the descent into the grubby basement of the ‘manosphere’, all whilst expanding the sonic world that made Lambrini Girls’ debut so memorable. Industrial punk sits alongside moments of pop-adjacent immediacy, angular basslines and unexpected vulnerability, with the duo pairing their most confrontational material with the dark humour and wit that has become synonymous with the duo.

The album’s evolution comes after an intensely difficult period for both members. Selin stepped back from touring in late 2025 after being burned out and subsequently triggering a manic episode as a symptom of her bipolar disorder, while Phoebe suffered a brain injury during the band’s first Australian tour. Both experiences forced the pair to confront the physical and emotional cost of a trajectory that had accelerated rapidly since their emergence, ultimately deepening their connection to the band and to the music they were making.

Tracklist:

  1. Truth to Power
  2. Cult of Celebrity
  3. White Man’s World
  4. Spilt
  5. Succulent Chinese Meal
  6. Bang Bang Bang
  7. Don’t Talk To Me Until I’ve Had My Abortion
  8. Gaza Beach
  9. The Basement
  10. Wake Up!
  11. Is This AI?

Lambrini Girls rapid ascent has continued throughout 2026, with the band appearing at some of the world’s biggest and most influential festivals, including Bonnaroo, Pukkelpop, Lowlands, Rock En Seine, Oya, Way Out West, Flow and Primavera Sound. The duo will be taking the new album on the road in 2027, with an extensive run of UK and European headline dates, find a full list of live moments below.

Since their debut, Lambrini Girls have evolved from one of the UK’s most incendiary new punk acts into an international touring force, reaching #16 on the Official UK Album Chart. They subsequently performed across the UK, Europe and North America, then taking their explosive live show to festivals worldwide, including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Roskilde, Rock Werchter and Riot Fest. The girls have become a fixture across the cultural landscape, appearing on covers and features spanning Kerrang!, NME, DIY, Gay Times, Dazed, The Times and Teen Vogue, all while earning major support from BBC Radio 6 Music and key DSP platforms. Their November 2025 UK headline tour sold out in full, with their London headline shows growing from Scala to Brixton Electric to Kentish Town Forumin just over a year. They’ve heaped praise and admiration from the likes of Bikini Kill’s Kathleen Hanna, Iggy Pop and Sleater Kinney, and shared stages with IDLES, Amyl & The Sniffers & more.
