Canadian Billy Talent stopped in Munich to celebrate a night of celebration, friendship and love of neighbors, with support from the British Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls and Berlin based punk rock outfit Pabst!

The Australian up-and-coming metalcore outfit Polaris made Backstage Munich explode with the help of their friends of Alpha Wolf, Great American Ghost and Stepson!

A while back, Bring Me The Horizon set fire to the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, Georgia with the help of the varied support with Knocked Loose, Grandson and Siiickbrain!

Punk rock fans were spoiled on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago when the absolute legends of hardcore punk GBH turned On The Rocks in Helsinki into a complete chaos of old school punks and new school punks dancing and partying like there’s no tomorrow. An event by Loose Mind Productions and support from Broken Trend and Likaiset Pikkarit.

With The BossHoss, one of Germany’s most popular bands right now, we didn’t expect anything less than joy, animation and party at their show at the Tollwood Summer Festival in Munich!

Gig Reports

We caught Lydia Lunch & Marc Hurtado playing Suicide and Alan Vega songs at The Caves in Edinburgh, and it wasn’t for the lover of sweet and tender music, quite on the contrary!

The Damned recently did one last tour with the original line-up and our reporter went to check out the stop at the O2 Academy in Glasgow for what turned into a celebration of old school punk with support from Penetration, TV Smith and The Bored Teenagers and Smalltown Tigers!

At the “Does This Look All Killer No Filler tour” stop at Vorst Nationaal in Brussels, Cassyette provided us with something new to check out while Simple Plan and Sum 41 provided a true trip though memory lane.

The old school “Brummie Hardcore Punks” of GBH came to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their debut album ‘City Baby Attacked by Rats’ and started a riot at On The Rocks in Helsinki with support from Broken Trend and Likaiset Pikkarit!

After 5 long years, Canadian rock ‘n’ roll machine Danko Jones finally came back to the legendary Finnish rock club Tavastia!

The Used is celebrating their 20th anniversary and are touring through North America visiting smaller venues to give back to their fans!

As closer for my weekend, I caught the show of melodic hardcore greats Ignite in Helsinki!

Satanic Surfers have a special kind of bond with Belgium, or rather with the Belgium punk rock family. Their very first gig in Belgium was in Ostend actually and they were more than happy to be back. Even while it was in a tiny basement, no fucks were given this evening.
