Belgian melodic metal ensemble Insolitus shares new single ‘Whisperbox’

Belgian melodic metal ensemble Insolitus proudly shared their second single  “Whisperbox”, out since September 18^th of 2026. This haunting melody is the perfect prelude to the band’s debut album ‘The Monumental Fall’, which is scheduled for release on October 30^th of 2026.

“Whisperbox” and its accompanying lyric video will guide any listener through the darkest depths of loss, loneliness and regret towards warm, soothing relief. Make no mistake, this track rips and tears at the seams of one’s sanity all while offering an uneasy comfort to a reclusive soul. Fans of Amorphis and Insomnium will feel right at home when greeted by bells of our “Whisperbox”.

For the recording and mixing of their debut album ‘The Monumental Fall’, Insolitus teamed up with Szymon Wojciech of Regent Audio (Anciients, Zwartalder, Silence of the Nemeta) at Dunk! Studios. The album was mastered by Yarne Heylen of Project Zero Studios (Carnation, Epica, Warbringer). Insolitus’ very own guitar player Kaatje Desmet created the enchanting lyric video.
