Abstracted Mind presents their new single and video 'Rise Again' • GRIMM Gent

The symphonic metal band Abstracted Mind is back with their brand new single Rise Again, accompanied by an official music video.

Opening with delicate piano melodies, cinematic orchestration and Juli Hope’s intimate vocal performance, Rise Again reveals the band’s most emotional and vulnerable side to date. What begins as a fragile and melancholic ballad slowly evolves into a powerful symphonic crescendo, blending emotional strings, dynamic instrumentation and an explosive final chorus filled with choir, orchestra and raw emotion.

Lyrically, Rise Again explores the internal struggle against fear, anxiety and emotional isolation. Through haunting verses and uplifting choruses, the song captures the journey from darkness to rebirth, a fight to reclaim hope, confront one’s deepest fears and rise once more.

The track builds tension with every section: from its atmospheric piano and orchestra-driven introduction, through an intense bridge featuring the full band, to an emotional guitar solo that momentarily pulls the listener back into intimacy before unleashing the song’s climactic finale. The result is a cinematic and deeply personal experience that combines the emotional depth of a power ballad with the epic scale of symphonic metal.
