Alia Tempora releases sparkling music video for summer cover ‘Break My Stride’

Unicorn metal pioneers ALIA TEMPORA once again prove that there is room for bright colors, lightheartedness, and the courage to be different in the metal scene. Their new single — a cover of the legendary hit “Break My Stride” originally by Matthew Wilder — has just received a visual treatment that certainly won’t go unnoticed. A tropical party bursting with neon colors, glitter, bubbles, inflatable unicorns, and golden pineapples will transport you into an entirely different world — the one the band has been building with their fans for years: the Unicorn Metal Universe.

The music video was created with a sense of irony but a clear mission — to spread joy, lightness, and positive energy. “Break My Stride is an anthem about inner strength, about how nothing can stop you. And we wanted to connect that energy with our world full of colors, openness, absurd humor, and acceptance. It’s one of those projects where you think, ‘so much work for something so silly.’ (laughs) Even though the video looks relaxed and deliberately absurd, it involved a lot of effort and, above all, amazing people. The helpers and friends around us created an atmosphere where we could goof off, laugh, and be authentic — and that made it one of the most fun days of our career,” says vocalist Markie Morávková, commenting on the video.

The cover is being released symbolically on the threshold of the festival season, and the band will perform it live for the first time today, May 17 in Brno at their traditional Femme Fatale Fest.
