Alt prog force Holosoil release new single ‘Animal’

Alternative Metal, Progressive Metal

2026 promises to be an exciting year for the Berlin/Helsinki format HOLOSOIL. The band not only just released their newest single, “Animal,” but also generated quite a stir with details about their upcoming debut EP.  “Animal”, their 4th single overall, showcases the band’s signature balance of alternative and prog while delivering a message about freedom and rebellion. “Animal” will be the final track released ahead of their debut EP, which is set for worldwide release on April 17th, 2026. To celebrate, HOLOSOIL will host a release party on April 23rd, 2026, at Urban Spree in Berlin.

“Animal” follows on prior released tracks “Spirals”, “Cracks”, and “Look Up”. HOLOSOIL‘s debut EP ,“Look Up,“ is an ode to experimental songwriting – raw, technical, and catchy, with a desire to be heard and seen as something that has not been done before. The band humbly sets their footprint on the trail of progressive music, offering an atypical project to 21st century metal-heads and old-school rockers alike. Their EP will be released digitally April 17th, 2026, via InsideOutMusic.

The band shares about “Animal”:

“Animal is a pledge of loyalty to the greatest rock songs of our times. A memorable hymn that aims to resonate through the minds of pop fans and metal heads alike. Lyrically, Animal is about connecting with what makes you feel fully alive. Embracing the animal and creature inside you that wants to run free with the wind.”

HOLOSOIL will be celebrating the release of their debut EP with a very special release party, to be held April 23rd, 2026, at the Urban Spree in Berlin, Germany. More details and tickets are available here.

HOLOSOIL is a band founded in 2024 by Victor Nissim (bass), Jan Kurfürst (guitar), Altaïr Chagué (drums) and Emelie Sederholm (vocals) . Although most of the band members are based in Berlin, Germany, Emelie lives in Helsinki, Finland while Victor and Altaïr are both French. The result is a gathering of eclectic musicians, manufacturers of a freaky, explosive and sophisticated sound. Signed to InsideOutMusic in 2023, the formation previously known as R3VO featured in Metal Hammer magazine, performed at Euroblast Festival 2023 and was notably approached by Trinity Music to open for Scottish band “Vukovi“. The release of 2 additional singles will lead up to HOLOSOIL´s debut EP, out in April 2026.

HOLOSOIL are:
Emelie Sederholm – Vocals
Victor Nissim – Bass
Jan Kurfürst – Guitar
Altaïr Chagué – Drums
