There was “Nothing to Gein” the first Friday of August in Ohio except metal bands that absolutely melted our faces off, with the Mudvayne “Psychotherapy Sessions” tour dropping by with support from Coal Chamber, GWAR, Nonpoint and Butcher Babies!

We got to see one of the Raskasta Iskelmää live shows at the sold out Hönö bar in Tampere. Featuring Marko Hietala, Antti Railio and Ville Tuomi on vocals, it’s the perfect summer getaway while waiting for the Raskasta Joulua season. A very fun evening presented by Tuhdimmat Tahdit and Master Events.

The first edition of brand-new festival Hellsinki Metal Festival is quickly approaching and they’ve constantly been sharing more details and updates. So it was about time to gather what we already know about the fest in a preview…

Iron Maiden, Future Past 2013 Sportpaleis

This night was Iron Maiden night! After one of their greatest performances ever last year at Graspop Metal Meeting expectations were real high for the band’s return this year. But they left our reporter with somewhat of disappointed feeling after the show at Sportpaleis in Antwerp with support from The Raven Age.
