Brother Firetribe has been travelling through Finland on their “Band on a Mission tour”, and last Friday Tampere finally had its turn with their very last stop of the tour at G Livelab, organized by Master Events. And we saw it was good! A perfect way to start our weekend…
Nita Strauss released her second album ‘Call of the Void’ on July 7th 2023. The title might sound rather depressing, but Nita explains that that’s not its intention. It’s not about jumping in a dark void, or being afraid of the dark or nothingness. It’s about the feeling to be alive, and to take a jump to something new, even if you’re scared. In the end it feels like ‘Call of the Void’ lacks unity. But all songs by itself are strong enough to tell their own story.

Today, they’re starting their extensive “Shake Your City” European tour at a sold out Tavastia in Helsinki, but earlier this year, to celebrate the release of their new album ‘Electric Sounds’, the Canadian rockers of Danko Jones dropped by in Helsinki. For a private rock party where only a select amount of fans and music professionals had a great time seeing them in a small club stage setting!
