After 3 years Black Stone Cherry returned to German stages. They have not lost anything ever since the last time and are a fantastic live band with an energy loaded show. On Friday 23th of September, we witnessed a historical night of rock ‘n’ roll when the original lineup of the legendary band Hanoi Rocks performed for the first time in 40 years in front of a sold out arena with over 8000 people in Jäähalli, Helsinki at Michael Monroe’s 60th birthday extravaganza.
Week 37 brought us a bunch of wholesome, heavy and unique songs and videos from bands like Dust In Mind, SKYND, Lorna shore, Starbenders, In Flames, Vévaki, King Dude, Sahg and Electric Callboy. Go check them out if you haven’t yet!
Punk rock fans were spoiled on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago when the absolute legends of hardcore punk GBH turned On The Rocks in Helsinki into a complete chaos of old school punks and new school punks dancing and partying like there’s no tomorrow. The music industry is at it again at full force after the festival season with a massive amount of really cool releases coming out, just look at the number of our most anticipated releases for September have grown into and then we probably could have included more still. YUNGBLUD at Kulttuuritalo Helsinki on his “Life on Mars Tour” was quite the rock ‘n’ roll experience. People saying that rock is dead, clearly haven’t seen this guy rockin’ the stage! With support from Boy Bleach, it was an absolutely memorable night!
