Dutch rockers The Travoltas unleash their nostalgic new single ‘Too Much Ain’t Enough’

Punk Rock, Rock

While John Travolta brought disco fever to the dancefloor, The Travoltas are bringing punk rock energy back with their latest single, Too Much Ain’t Enough. Mixing the raw attitude of The Ramones, the harmonies of The Beach Boys, and the pulse of 80s action movie soundtracks, this track, produced and mixed by Perry Leenhouts, proves that sometimes too much is just right.

With a sound that effortlessly merges the energy of The Ramones, the harmonies of The Beach Boys, and the over-the-top flair of 80s rock, The Travoltas have been carving out their place in the punk rock scene since the mid-90s. Their impressive catalog includes a steady stream of singles, EPs, and full-length albums, showcasing their ability to stay fresh while maintaining the nostalgia that fans love.

Their latest single, “Too Much Ain’t Enough“, perfectly captures their signature vibe. It’s a punchy blend of punk rock grit and the soaring, motivational feel of an 80s action movie training montage, think running up a staircase or punching a bag in slow motion while the world watches. Produced and mixed by frontman Perry Leenhouts at Point Break Sound in San Diego and recorded both there and at Mick’s Basement in the Netherlands, this track is a testament to their dedication to crafting music that feels both timeless and full of life.

Whether you’ve been a fan since their early days or you’re just now discovering their knack for transporting listeners back to the golden age of chart-dominating soundtracks, “Too Much Ain’t Enough” is a perfect entry point into the world of The Travoltas. It’s loud, it’s fun, and it’s exactly what fans of Ramones, Loverboy, and The Cars have been craving.
