Empires In Orbit announces new album and share new single

Industrial Rock

Industrial rock duo Empires In Orbit – the brain child of multi-instrumentalist Gary Mann and vocalist Fe Malefiz – is excited to announce their forthcoming album Audiodrome. Described by Malefiz as “beautiful, confusing chaos” and by Mann as a compelling “Lana del Reznor” mash-up, Audiodrome is set to be released on August 14 and is available for pre-save now here.

Additionally, the band has debuted their new single and horror-inspired music video “Mother!”, which fans can check out now at https://youtu.be/mb8Y2nQF-L0.

“As soon as we finished the demo for this song, we knew it would be a single. The lyrics are as heavy as the guitars and it just stuck in our heads,” shares Mann. “We’re equally proud of every song on the album but this song we couldn’t shake. Miri’s vocal performance is so powerful and visual that writing the treatment for the video was easy. We’re both horror movie fanatics so we wanted the visuals to be as memorable as the song itself. Josh Waldby of Arvest Pictures was the only man for the job and he delivered more of a mini movie than a standard music video. The entire crew on that shoot was locked in and helped us create something truly special.”

Adds Malefiz: “‘Mother’ is a song about a frightening world that often feels overwhelming and consuming, filled with inner demons that invite themselves in and refuse to let go. It captures a dark, almost devilish emotional state that weighs heavily on both body and mind.”

Stay tuned for more coming soon from Empires In Orbit at https://empiresinorbit.bandcamp.com/.

Empires in Orbit launched in 2015 by multi-instrumentalist Gary Mann. 6 albums and over 3,000,000 plays later, Empires has made their mark on electronic music. Genre defying records, dozens of collaborations, placements in film and soundtracks for ballets are the tip of the synth iceberg for a group set on shattering expectations.

2026 ushers in a new era for the band, as they added vocalist Fe Malefiz as a permanent resident. This German powerhouse has been in the industry over 15 years and her voice has been heard on countless collaborations and voice-over work. Seemingly impossible range and ready to take her rightful place on the gothic electronic throne, Fe Malefiz enchants your ears into submission.

Enter Audiodrome. The duo’s first dark offering will challenge everything you know about genre bending. One album containing indie pop, black metal, hip hop, ambient and industrial music shouldn’t work but sonic lightning struck and magic ensued.

Epic cinematic videos for “Mother!” and “Cat Eyes” set the tone for the most unique record of 2026. Audiodrome shows you what music without rules sounds like.
