Finnish gothic metal band For My Pain… to embark on ‘Buried Blue’ album release tour in January 2026

After an incredible return from a 20-year hiatus, Finland’s dark and melancholic gothic metal ensemble For My Pain… will release their long-awaited second album “Buried Blue” on January 9, 2026. To celebrate, the band will embark on a five-date album release tour across Finland, beginning at Tavastia Club, Helsinki on January 14, and concluding at Kantakrouvi, Oulu on February 7, 2026. Tickets for all shows are on sale right now, via each venue’s official ticket outlets.

Originally formed in 1999 in Oulu, For My Pain.. gained international recognition in the early 2000s when their debut album “Fallen” was released worldwide through Spinefarm Records / Universal Music in 2003. Combining heavy melodic metal with a dark gothic atmosphere, the band quickly attracted attention for its “supergroup” lineup, featuring renowned Finnish metal musicians from acts such as Eternal Tears of Sorrow, Nightwish, Embraze, Kalmah, Charon, and Reflexion.

After two decades of silence, 2024 marked the band’s powerful rebirth with a series of sold-out comeback shows, attended by devoted fans from around the globe. The upcoming “Buried Blue” album has already been teased with four singles: the first two, “Recoil Into Darkness” and “WitchBitch Elite,” were released during the comeback year, followed by “Hetken Tie on Kevyt” and “Time Will Heal Our Wounds” in spring 2025.
