Finnish industrial rock project The Fair Attempts revealed a first dark single from the upcoming new album

,

The Fair Attempts is a Finnish one-man industrial rock project that has been awakening the domestic industrial scene for several years and has self-released several albums. The Fair Attempts, who recently produced the ‘Bloodsport‘ cover by Jessi Frey and Turmion Kätilöt‘s MC Raaka Pee, moves in a dystopian world filled with ruins, where humanity finds itself in a world where constant conflict has driven them. Against that idea, the first single ‘My Frozen Heart’ of the upcoming album was released. Listen to the track here.

Friendly Timo, the man behind The Fair Attempts says:

“I was inspired by the state of the world after the covid panic, which seems to be bottling up various conflicts and crises, which now in turn give rise to new conflicts. I guess I would like to convey the message that the best conflicts to win are the ones that each person goes through with themselves. That way, even those external conflicts are more or less unlikely. But what is the fuss about this – humanity has been fighting wars for millennia, and no one is going to change that.”

Fusing industrial rock, electropop and metal into the same mold, The Fair Attempts makes music that looks to the future from a unique – and rather dark – perspective. The new single expresses the feelings of being at the center of a crisis.

“Here I wanted to reflect the state of the human soul and mind in the center of conflict. Some of us even live in constant conflict with ourselves.”

The Fair Attempts will release more singles in the nearby future, with the fourth full-length album being released in the winter of 2023.
