Freeze the Fall dives into frigid waters with their latest single ‘Hypothermia’

Hard Rock

Dive into the frigid, icy waters of “Hypothermia,” the new single and music video from Canada’s hard rock power trio FREEZE THE FALL, now streaming everywhere. Full of lore, interwoven narratives, and hidden secrets to be revealed in time, this raw, haunting single serves as an impressive, macabre relic showcasing the trio’s technical prowess. Directed by Evan-Riley Brown of Orphanarium, the music video is a cinematic tour de force brimming with symbolic mystery. Freeze the Fall’s loyal and dedicated fanbase is already combing through “Hypothermia” for its uncovered whispers. The track is produced, mixed and mastered by Jordan Chase and engineered by Colton Douglas at Oo-de-lally Recordings in British Columbia.

“Hypothermia is about what people become when they have the freedom of anonymity,” explains Freeze the Fall. “Online, people can say anything about anyone, often with little to no consequences. This continues as a never-ending cycle where everyone feels obligated to meet unrealistic expectations set on social media.”

Inspired by groups like Spiritbox, Bring Me The Horizon, Palaye Royale and Ice Nine Kills, Kelowna’s Freeze the Fall are gearing up for an exciting 2025 (more to be revealed soon). Building momentum with the release of horror-laden single “VHS” this past fall, the band is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. “VHS”  garnered impressive numbers at streaming and premiered at Vancouver’s Horror Festival in October sparking ravenous excitement and adding to the band’s impressive musical trove. The single followed the release of Freeze the Fall’s debut EP, THRONES this past summer.

Welcome to The Cold Front. You say “loud” Freeze the Fall says, “How loud?”. These hard rockers are not playing when it comes to their music or their artistry. With an acumen for storytelling their fans are already theorizing what comes next. The band consists of Quinn Mitzel on guitar and lead vocals, Aria Becker on bass and backup vocals, and Jonah Goncalves on drums. They write original music based on angsty guitar riffs, wildly technical bass lines, and powerful drum fills. All tied together with soulful melodies.

“We write songs about life, all of it, and we hope you love listening.”
