Furies sign to Fireflash Records and release new single & video ‘Cannibale’

Hard Rock, Heavy Metal

Furies is thrilled to announce their signing with Fireflash Records, the label recently revived in early 2026 by Markus Wosgien – former Nuclear Blast A&R and CEO of Atomic Fire Records.

This new partnership marks an exciting step forward for Furies and is embodied by the release of Cannibale, a single of striking impact, crafted to leave a lasting impression.

The first composition by guitarist Fred, Cannibale also features lyrics written in collaboration with journalist and author Rodolphe Casso, strengthening the song’s narrative dimension. It is one of the rare Furies tracks performed in French, a deliberate artistic choice that contributes to the song’s distinctive identity. The single is accompanied by an ambitious and visually driven music video, scripted by drummer Zaza and directed by Jude Benzaouia and Hugo Preverand.

Following a series of well-received singles released over the past years — like Stars of Burning Lands and Furry Tale — Furies made a strong impression on the Altar stage at Hellfest 2025, captivating audiences with the intensity of their performance. This milestone confirmed the band’s growing momentum and the anticipation surrounding their upcoming album.

Blending heavy, thrash and power metal with occasional glam influences, Furies has established itself as a distinctive force on today’s heavy metal scene. The band was notably among the very few heavy metal acts spotted and supported by SACEM in 2025, a rare form of institutional recognition for the genre. Furies has also built a solid track record with collaborations featuring Alessia Scolletti (Era) and Brittney Slayes (Unleash The Archers), appearances on national media outlets (Culturebox, France 3, France Inter), coverage in specialized press in France and Germany, and consistent placement on editorial streaming playlists. With several lineup changes since their debut album Fortune’s Gate (2020), the band has turned evolution into strength, steadily expanding its audience while staying true to its artistic vision.

On stage, their precision and energy have consistently impressed, from Les Étoiles in Paris to Furiosfest, the MaMA Festival, and now Hellfest. As the 2026 festival season approaches, Furies continues its ascent, already looking ahead to the next phase of its development alongside Fireflash Records.
