HAKEN announced as special guest on DEVIN TOWNSEND European tour
HAKEN, one of progressive music’s most exciting bands, recently completed a hugely successful tour of Europe in support of their latest album Vector. Now they are pleased to reveal that they will join their label-mate, the legendary Devin Townsend, as special guest on his headlining EMPATH European tour later this year.
The band comment:
“We are beyond excited to have been invited along to support one of our all-time favourite artists, Mr. Devin Townsend, on such a monumental tour! Having just completed hugely encouraging and successful headlining tours of our own throughout North and South America and Europe, we feel truly honoured, maybe even a little electrified, to be given the opportunity to play for a whole load of new faces. We can only hope that Devin‘s fans will enjoy the prescription we have ready for them!”

Following the release of Vector in October 2018, the band went out on a co-headline tour of North America alongside Leprous & Bent Knee, before heading to South America for the first time at the beginning of 2019 and on to Europe, marking the bands most successful shows to date.
Since their inception in 2007, Haken have shown over four previous studio albums, one EP and a live release that they never stand still, merely satisfied to rely on past triumphs. Rather, Haken always look for ways to challenge themselves as musicians and artists, and also to keep the listeners on their collective toes. “We don’t like to make simple music,”laughs vocalist Ross Jennings. “We always aim to defy expectations, and I believe we’ve surpassed what we aimed to achieve with our new album.”
