Heavy rockers Carbellion drop high octane muscle-car fueled ‘This Is Our Style’

Wisconsin heavy rock veterans Carbellion deliver a masterclass in authentic garage-built energy with their explosive new music video for “This Is Our Style,” directed by Kenny Boufadene of Studio Meltdown. The music video was filmed on location at the Annual Violators Car Club private party in July, 2026. From the opening roar of classic engines to the blistering bite of heavy guitar riffs, this visual mission statement captures an unvarnished celebration of American muscle cars, lifelong camaraderie, and unapologetic rock and roll. “This Is Our Style” is the second of three music videos from the band’s upcoming full-length album This Is Our Style, which will be released on November 13, 2026 via rock and metal record label Eclipse Records.

Fresh off the heels of their 2023 album Weapons of Choice (also released via Eclipse Records), these heavy rock road warriors have continued to forge a distinct, radio-ready identity by fusing elements of grunge, rock, and desert stoner. Their sonic footprint shares heavy common ground with legendary contemporaries like Clutch, Corrosion of Conformity, and Queens of the Stone Age. Instead of relying on Hollywood soundstages or manufactured green-screen illusions for this music video, the band chose complete authenticity to capture the true heartbeat of their lifestyle.

“I thought it would be cool to write a song about something all of us in the band genuinely connect over.” explains drummer Brent Nimz. “ We all love muscle cars and music, so it felt natural to bring those two things together and build a song around that shared passion. I knew from the start that I wanted to keep the tempo a little slower and give the song a heavier, more powerful feel. I wanted to write something that felt good cruising down the road—one of those songs where you can’t help but nod your head to the beat or tap your foot along with it. The groove was important to me, and I wanted it to have that steady, driving feel from beginning to end. I also wanted the chorus to be simple, memorable, and the kind of thing that would stick in your head after just a couple of listens. To me, this is really about combining two things we all love and turning that into a song that feels like us.”

Following up on their acclaimed 2023 release Weapons of Choice through Eclipse Records, the group has spent over two decades forging an original path in the American underground music scene. The album structure consists of ten hard-hitting original compositions alongside a compelling cover of the classic track “Open Up Your Eyes” by alternative rock band Tonic. The first major standout is “I Don’t Want to Be Your Dog,” an introspective track that examines the dark side of the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle. The thunderous title track, “This Is Our Style,” serves as an absolute sonic mission statement for the Wisconsin quintet, defining the core identity of the band, celebrating their mutual love for fast hot rods, loud amplification, and the adrenaline rush that comes from pushing both elements to the absolute limit. Finally, the aggressive track “Get Down” acts as a thematic spiritual successor to the song “Barfight” from their previous album, Weapons of Choice (2023, Eclipse Records). This Is Our Style was produced by Carbellion and Chris Djuricic (Nonpoint, Soil, Jungle Rot) at Belle City Sound, and mastered by Andy VanDette (Beastie Boys, Porcupine Tree, Rush) at Evolve Mastering, and the album cover art was created by Chris Schultz. It is scheduled for release on November 13, 2026.
