Hidden Phase release new single ‘Endless Night’ Ahead of ‘Nihil Obstat’ EP release

French duo Hidden Phase revealed “Endless Night”, their debut single and official music video, available since on October 2, 2026. This track introduces Nihil Obstat, a four-track EP scheduled for December 4.

Founded in 2017, Hidden Phase focuses entirely on studio work and visual production, bypassing traditional live touring circuits. The project develops a sound identity at the crossroads of alternative rock, atmospheric metal, and progressive nuances, approaching each release as a global project combining music and imagery.

This direction takes shape with “Endless Night”, the first excerpt from the upcoming EP Nihil Obstat. The band summarizes its core theme:

“With this first single, we wanted to talk about that exhausting loop of insomnia. ‘Endless Night’ is a dive into the frustration of a mind that refuses to shut down, where your body is completely drained but you’re still trapped awake. It’s an immersive track about those dark hours, capturing the daily struggle of feeling like a slave to the night and just trying to survive those sleepless nights.”

The track serves as the introduction to Nihil Obstat, a four-track EP scheduled for release on December 4, 2026. Each of the EP’s four tracks will be accompanied by its own music video, continuing the project’s focus on combining music and visual storytelling.

Endless Night is available through Hidden Phase‘s official channels, with the accompanying video released on YouTube. Pre-orders for Nihil Obstat are also available through Bandcamp.
