Internet Islands announced debut EP ‘Veils’

Atlanta-based indie rock band Internet Islands is set to release their highly anticipated debut EP, VEILS, on April 18, 2025. This marks a major milestone for the band, being their first project recorded outside their home studio, collaborating with respected Atlanta producer Sophia Tate at the iconic Maze Studios. The EP was mastered by Robert Smith of Defy Recordings in NYC, ensuring a polished yet emotionally raw sonic experience.

The five-track EP includes previously released singles “Call Me (Before I Drive By Your House)” and “Butterflies Make Me Sick”, with three new tracks set to showcase the band’s evolving sound. VEILS explores themes of longing, insomnia, and memory distortion, blending elements of spaghetti western, 90s trip-hop, and post-punk influences into their signature modern-nostalgic aesthetic.

VEILS will also be available on physical CD for the first time. Pre-Order here.

Five music videos—one for each track—will accompany the release. Butterflies Make Me Sick is already available, with “Chamomile” arriving April 21, and the remaining three premiering in the weeks following the EP’s debut.

Following the launch of VEILS, Internet Islands will embark on their first run of out-of-town shows, kicking off in July. After a series of performances beyond Atlanta, the band will return for a highly anticipated hometown show later this year.

“Releasing VEILS is a huge milestone for us. This was an important goal we set for ourselves last year, and now—after working hard to record and perfect everything—it’s finally ready. I hope you all enjoy it ~”

Miyon, lead vocalist
