Silence The Echo unleash heavier new single ‘Stand Your Ground’

Finnish modern metal outfit Silence The Echo continue their strong release momentum with their brand-new single Stand Your Ground. The track follows the band’s debut album Liberation, released earlier this year, which has already surpassed 750,000 streams. After an intensive year of album work, five singles and four music videos, the band quickly moved into a new creative phase.

With Stand Your Ground, Silence The Echo present a more direct, faster and heavier side of their sound. The band is especially looking forward to bringing the track to the live stage, promising a completely new kind of energy during upcoming shows.

“The song deals with the widely relatable theme of confronting inner demons. Instead of approaching the subject as a personal story, we decided to tackle it on a more universal level by visualising these internal conflicts as a game-like world,” the band explains.

Set within an RPG-inspired, cyberpunk-influenced visual universe, the story follows a protagonist battling manifestations of their own mind. The abstract concept is transformed into a cinematic visual experience, which will be further expanded through an accompanying music video set for release next month.

Like Liberation, the new single was recorded by the band themselves in home studios as well as at Lightcrest Studio. Production duties were handled by Katja and Jani Stefanovic, while mixing and mastering were completed by acclaimed producer Thomas ‘Plec’ Johansson at Studio Bohus.

Founded in Lahti in 2022 by vocalist Katja Stefanovic and composer Jani Stefanovic (ex-Solution .45, Miseration), Silence The Echo blend modern metal and metalcore intensity with electronic elements and strong melodic hooks. The lineup expanded into a full band in 2024 with the addition of guitarist Teemu Rautiainen (ex-One Morning Left), drummer Nikke Karaksela and bassist Tommi Huuskonen.
