Skinhead announce new album ‘It’s a Beautiful Day, What a Beautiful Day’

California-based and New England-bred Skinhead is back with a brand new album, It’s a Beautiful Day, What a Beautiful Day, out June 20, 2025, via Closed Casket Activities [pre-order / pre-save].

Picking up where their 2023 LP left off, this nine-track offering delivers a violent fusion of Punk, Oi!, and Hardcore. Featuring a formidable lineup of current and former members from bands like Criminal Instinct, Human Garbage, Terror, Rude Awakening and God’s Hate, and engineered/mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit Recording Studio, Skinhead blends raw emotion with compelling storytelling. For fans of love, loss, and everything in between, It’s a Beautiful Day, What a Beautiful Day is a must-hear.  Skinhead vocalist comments, “I think this will be the album that gets new people into us. In addition to streaming three new tracks off of the 9-song LP, Skinhead has also shared details for a 28-page hardcover book, Records on an Island [pre-order].  The book is the debut short story by Joshua Long, the voice and songwriter behind the band. With the same energy and honesty that defines his music, Long explores the lives of those on the fringes of society, painting a vivid picture of a city filled with both brutality and unexpected tenderness.
