Slomosa reveal album details and brand new video single ‘Battling Guns’

Norwegian desert rockers SLOMOSA have finally revealed new details about their forthcoming, sophomore studio album! Slated for release on September 13, 2024 via Stickman Records, “Tundra Rock” will see the Bergen-based four-piece double down on all expectations!

Following previously-released, much acclaimed album tracks, “Cabin Fever” and “Rice”, SLOMOSA have just premiered a music video for their new single “Battling Guns”, a stoner rock track featuring gritty riffs and powerful vocals! Says vocalist and guitarist Benjamin Berdous: 

“This song shows a grungier side to our songwriting, as we wanted to add something new to our catalog. As history repeats itself, their triumphs are cheap and their followers are sheep. The song symbolizes the disbelief and anger at this development.”

SLOMOSA were formed in Bergen in 2017. Driven by their passion for catchy songwriting and groovy riffs, the band has embarked on a unique journey that blends stoner rock, grunge and hardcore into their signature blend, dubbed “tundra rock”; a northern twist on California desert rock.

On top of continuous touring, SLOMOSA has been channeling all their creative energy into their second, hotly-anticipated studio offering “Tundra Rock”, scheduled for a September release on Stickman Records. The nine album tracks were produced by Eirik Marinius Sandvik at Polyfon Studio and Marinius Studio, and were mastered by Jørgen Træen. The cover artwork was created by Elsa Enestig.
