The Pretty Wild release new single ‘Button Eyes’

Alternative Metal, Nu Metal

Rising metaphysical metalcore powerhouse The Pretty Wild have unleashed their new track “Button Eyes” via their new label home, Sumerian Records. The sister duo previously released their smash hit “sLeepwALkeR” which has already surpassed 5.6 million Spotify streams, with the official video already amassing 381k views on YouTube. Most recently, The Pretty Wild joined forces with Kittie and Diamante on the ‘Queen Of The Ring‘ official movie soundtrack for their haunting reimagination of Metallica’s legendary classic, “The Unforgiven”, available on all streaming platforms at the link here. Speaking about “Button Eyes”, the band shares:

“This song is for anyone who’s ever felt objectified, used or controlled. It’s about the moment you consciously break free from manipulation and you sever ties with that toxicity for good. We used dolls as a vessel for this theme, mostly as a way to blend playful melodies and imagery in a way that lightens a heavy conversation topic.” – jules

“‘Button Eyes’ explores the theme of disillusionment with life and the process of reclaiming personal power. The song cheekily pokes at the painful process of breaking free from the misleading beliefs that held us back and stepping into our truth. Essentially empowering ourselves by rejecting disempowering narratives that were imposed upon us. Personally, I love this one because it comes across fun, poppy, and superficial, but the irony in it, is that it’s the juxtaposition of all that at its core.” –jy

Stream “Button Eyes” here, and keep your eyes (and ears) peeled for more news from The Pretty Wild coming soon.

The Pretty Wild is a genre-bending, boundary-breaking powerhouse fusing rebellious spirit with raw, heartfelt lyricism that speaks to a generation craving authenticity. Refusing to be confined by the rules and expectations of traditional society, The Pretty Wild embrace their relentless pursuit of truth beyond societal expectations, all while making music for everyone brave enough to break free. With already amassing over 16 million all-time streams and planned performances this year at major national festivals such as Welcome To Rockville and Inkcarceration 2025, the sky is the limit for the sister duo who are further solidifying themselves as a force to be reckoned with in modern heavy music.
