Australian Nothing Sacred is starting their highly anticipated 2024 European tour!

Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal

Nothing Sacred, one of Australia’s pioneering heavy metal bands, is thrilled to be starting their highly anticipated 2024 European tour. Celebrated for their uncompromising live shows and a legacy that has spanned over four decades, the band is set to perform at some of Europe’s most iconic metal festivals and venues this summer.

They’ll kick the tour off strong with Headbangers Open Air (July 27, 2024): Known as “the biggest garden party in the world,” this festival in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany, offers an eclectic mix of legendary and underground metal acts. Attendees can expect a unique atmosphere on a restored farm with classic metal performances, food, and drinks at reasonable prices.

And wrap things up at Speed Metal Party (August 17, 2024): Held in Tampere, Finland, this long-standing event is dedicated exclusively to thrash metal. This year’s lineup includes Belgium’s EVIL INVADERS, Finland’s MANIAC ABDUCTOR and PRESTIGE, and American thrash metal legends HEATHEN, along with Nothing Sacred making their Finnish debut.

Tour Dates :
July 27 – Headbangers Open Air, Hamburg DE
August 3 – Reset Club, Berlin DE
August 6 – Hospoda Brouk, Prague CZ
August 7 – Salute Bar, Weiden DE
August 8 – Stereo Wonderland, Cologne DE
August 11 – Cart & Horses, London UK
August 14 – Club Lemmy, Kaunas LT
August 15 – Republika, Riga LV
August 17 – Speed Metal Party, Tampere FI

Nothing Sacred’s return to the international stage follows the successful release of their 2023 EP Leviathan and their first full-length album in over three decades, No Gods, which garnered critical acclaim across Europe and South America.

Emerging from the Melbourne metal scene in the early 80s, Nothing Sacred quickly made a name for themselves with relentless gigging and a powerful stage presence. Their 1986 headlining performance at the Metal for Melbourne festival solidified their status in the Australian metal community. The band’s self-released records, the Deathwish EP and Let Us Prey album, have since become cult classics, cherished for their raw intensity and speed.

Despite a brief hiatus in the 90s, Nothing Sacred returned stronger than ever in the 2000s, captivating a new generation of metal fans and earning spots in high-profile documentaries and international gigs.

Bassist, Karl Lean says that Nothing Sacred is more than ready to sonically tear their way across Europe;

“We’re beyond excited to hit the road and bring our music to European fans. The energy and passion we’ve encountered over the years have been incredible, and we can’t wait to perform at these iconic venues and festivals.”
