Finnish melodeath act Admire The Grim released ‘No Limits’ single

Melodic Death Metal

Finnish melodic death metallers Admire the Grim will release their debut album ‘Resist’ via Inverse Records on January 31st 2025. The third single ‘No Limits’ is released now and it’s available on streaming services: https://push.fm/fl/atg-nolimits

Band comments:

“While writing ‘No Limits’, it was clear that this is going to probably be the most difficult song of the album and also the most difficult song that we’ve ever written. Jani wrote some amazing riffs for this one and it turned out to be a crushing song. The over-the-limit feeling and aggressive playing clicked nicely with the lyrics. A 1000 km/h over the speed limit, the song turned out fucking crazy and full of all kinds of happenings with every single instrument. Makes us laugh that we rigged ourselves with a song that’s absolutely devastating to play live.”

Guitarist Jani Loikkanen comments:

“‘No Limits’ kind of accidentally ended up sounding a bit like a metalcore song. For a long time I told everyone in the band that this song doesn’t work and I actually wanted to leave it out from the album. Petri, our bassist, told me that this should actually be a single and we’re not going to drop a song this good. After we had recorded this song and I heard the first mixed version, I started to really like it and it turned out great! ‘No Limits’ is a crazy song full of energy. Absolutely relentless, no rest for nobody.”

Finnish melodic death metallers Admire the Grim will release their debut album ‘Resist’ via Inverse Records in January 2025. The album, which was crafted for two years, consists of familiar Admire the Grim tunes and acoustic surprises. Antti ‘Hyrde’ Hyyrynen of Stam1na visits as a guest vocalist on the single ‘Resist’. The album debut gig will be held at the legendary Nuijamies venue in the band’s hometown of Lappeenranta, Finland. Afterwards Admire the Grim is heading for gigs around Finland.

Admire the Grim was formed in 2021. The band released its’ well received ‘Rogue Five’ debut EP via Inverse Records in 2022. After the release the band followed up with a Finnish tour and their first gig abroad at Bloodstained Metal Fest in Estonia.
